Episode 7: Stick To It Recap

Guest Judge: Marie Saint Pierre, Designer

The remaining six designers are challenged to create an artistic evening gown using many variations of a single innovative product. The designers are paired with breast cancer survivors, who will model the creations that will later be auctioned to raise money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The survivor’s stories of inspiration push the designers to reach new creative heights. A final surprise reveals extra support for the cause. Guest judge designer Marie Saint Pierre joins the panel to declare the winner and who is sent home.
Since her first collection in 1986, Marie Saint Pierre has always offered her very personal vision of fashion for women who desire intelligent clothing: innovative, aesthetic and functional. Today, Marie Saint Pierre’s collections are sold in the US, Canada and Japan. The philosophy behind her work has attracted a lot of followers.

Nikki said: Episode 7 was great, I am totally impressed with all of the dresses. I wasn't surprised to see Jason go but his dress was still impressive to me, I think he might have been trying too hard to make it fancier than it needed to be, something simpler would have done better for him.

And as for Kim... as far as I'm concerned she can join her boyfriend next episode because her attitude is the worst attitude and always has been, time and time again.

Jessica might have had to do a whole new dress and then the second one taking less time than everyone else's but it's not like she cheated or anything of the sort. She just came up with a fabulous idea that didn't take as much time as the others. And considering she had to start all over half way through and still came up with the winning dress, Kim's got to admit she's jealous and get over herself. Sure she wants to win but being professional and allowing yourself to be critiqued is part of the world of fashion considering you're always seeking to appeal to the industry and consumers.

Andrea said: I really hope Sunny takes the whole competition. His designs are fantastic! Just look at that necklace on the post-it dress and the way the dress flowed downthe runway! Unique and fresh and he is very good at quality sewing. Very skilled!

I also wish Kim would join Jason in the "you just didn't measure up" abyss. I liked her at first but now we see her immaturity. Embarrasing! I wonder what Kim is thinking watching the episodes now on tv. Hopefully she is a bit regretful and changed her ways!

Anyway, Sunny is the winner in my books! Go Sunny!

Methadon't said: Marie Saint Pierre added nothing to the show except negative comments. She could have said at least one positive thing. Please do not invite her back for future episodes or seasons. Not good TV.
